Description of work performed: Coastal Fire Protection is contracted through Halter Moss Point to provide all fire suppression and fire detection on board a Foss 310’ RoRo vessel. Foss Maritime will operate the vessel for Boeing Company. The vessel will transport Boeing-built Delta IV rocket boosters from Decatur,Ala. to space vehicle launch sites at Cape Canaveral Air Station, Fl., and Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif.

Coastal Fire Protection provided a (195) 100 lb. bottle CO2 system protecting the cargo bays as well as the engine room. In addition to the CO2 system we are providing a Consilium fire detection system as well as all fire hose stations, fire extinguishers and foam system.
